Just had a cyberhome portable DVD that had the same problem. Found the power board for the LCD defective. This brand you can't get parts have to send it back to them to service. This is one of those portable DVD with a LCD screen and has a dark picture. I think the LCD display is bad but was wondering what the guys on the list thought. I took the unit apart and found a few pots, adjusted a couple of them that seems to affect the brightness but only a little. > If anyone thinks it is the LCD display, maybe you would also know where I can get one or if they are even available. I imagine they are expensive. > > Any advice is welcome. > > TIA > > Jason > Moutons Electronics > > > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- --- > Lost Password: > http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?". > Email Archives: > //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ > > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lost Password: http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Login Problems?".
