Can any of you Admiral Techs provide some insight on this? I don't have a
schematic on this set.
Originally had no startup at all, replaced the regulator ic STRFxxxx.
Now the set's h/v comes up for a few seconds, with a slight popping sound,
no video, (the xstr Q503 gets real hot and starts smoking). Has a fuse
inline with Q503 but does not blow it.
Originally it was shorted so I replaced it with same part # (smoked it
also).
Can anyone help with this? Had it here for a while now, like to find the
problem, or tell the customer to chunk it.
Thanks a lot for any help on this. David.
