Broken Clock
An antique clock with Roman numerals is in a museum.
Notice the numeral IIII instead of the familiar Roman numeral IV.
The clock face has cracks that divide it into 4 parts.
Unequal sums of the Roman numerals are in each part. (21, 17, 20,20)
Question :
Can you rearrange one crack, leaving the others untouched, to obtain a sum of
20 for each of the 4 parts?
