WOO HOO!!!
Sorry, your TCC treasurer gets a little excited when he’s counting money........
But seriously folks, the club hit a record for any OS launch. The reasons as
far as I can see is due to better marketing, cool T-shirts, even cooler
sponsors, a very nice donation from MAV, fantastic weather and a very big crowd!
The food vendor did an outstanding job. I had the chicken tacos, a breakfast
burrito and the pancake combo – all well done and fairly priced.
So, here’s how it breaks down.
After paying for the shirts, we had $1738 (that includes $100 in petty cash).
Our gross deposit for the OS launch was $3423.46.
That deposit is AFTER we paid the Francos $500 to build our second away pad (a
steal in steel!).
We still have to pay the porta-potty bill and Ben for bringing some super
quality micro-brew beer. There may be a few other small bills, but I am
projecting the club will have around $4750 when all is said and done.
That has historically been a healthy amount to operate our club. Most of our
gear is in good shape and is top-quality. We’ll see how the trailer holds
up......
Anyway, thanks to everyone that came out and participated. I hope you had a
good time. I know I did. Thanks to Rod too for the great cake and movie
venue! I’m sure Bruce is asleep by now....... And James won’t be far behind
him.
