Hey it’s funny you say that I was having major tire issues I told you about
it’s the temperature I think the tires heat up and then they cool down like you
said
Valley areas are 65 and then the hills it gets over 100 so I was seeing
pressures changed by 5 to 12° which was setting off alarms

I tried to find Ed's contact info, I don't have it somehow it slipped our DB.
I also looked around in emails, no joy. I hope he reads this. I also sent
him an email
in between calling everyone who said they would come and talking to the FAA.
On that topic , I have rain dates for the 3-day launches but coordinating
multiple backup dates with multiple
Air routing and traffic controllers several times a month is not reasonable,
especially for summer dates where a
1-day launch with 109+ temperatures in the shade with only about a dozen or
so people coming and no vendor to boot.
Anyhow, I want to send a shout out and special thanks to Aaron - I am sorry
your truck broke down,
I guess the only saving grace is you were able to get it back on the road to
get home and then again
it is already 80+ out here near gilroy so I'm not surprised you had trouble.
But thank you for stepping up this month and also for Ben who had offered
also.
I can't emphasize enough how important it is that everyone helps out like
the great people
at this club - it's also so important to recognize that these very same
people who help with
setup, teardown, rso, lco, spotting and our prefects (past and in training)
are some of the
most reliable and helpful people you will ever know.
Thanks again for everyone who helps out to make this club great.
We will pick it up next month for sure, and make sure you save some big
rockets for our
killer 3-day launch October Skies - which is going to have some interesting
stuff flying
at night for sure ... :-)

Oh, that's unfortunate... Any chance we could regroup next weekend for a
launch?
Thanks,

this month. It’s going to be 109 so maybe it’s not that bad of a deal
Sorry for the short notice but sometimes this stuff happens
