Basically, I'm thinking of doing something like this:

So the max diameter of the tube (marked in red) that continues out the
bottom is 1.5" (though I'll probably go smaller since we have a bolt we can
use to tighten that down correct?
I'm also not sure how long to make that though I think it's probably less
important.
I originally ordered one of the giant leap towers (
https://giantleaprocketry.com/products/components_launch_systems.aspx) but
they are all out of stock of both sizes, so I guess I'm making my own
(unless anyone has one they want to sell or make available to the club).
I've got the 8010 rails arriving later this week. We'll see if I can find
the time between now and October skies to get it put together.
Please let me know if you see any issues. There's still time to revisit :)
