A portion of the party is covered by the club. The dinner fee is collected
sometime during the party. This has seemed to work fairly well in the past.
The most I think it has ever cost was $20 per person and that covered a steak
dinner with all the extras, and drinks which included soft drinks, beer and
wine. The restaurants have worked at times in the past, but it seems people
can socialize more when the party is at someone’s house. As a result, unless I
or someone else finds a big banquet room type of setup, I am happy to host the
party at my house, where most of the more recent parties have been held.

Yes, Ladies and Germs, its that time of year again!
This year’s TCC Christmas party is to be held on December 15th. We are still
firming up the plans, but the date is set.
You know the drill....... Figure you have plenty of time...... don’t deal
with it because you have a lot of things more pressing..... later realize “hey,
its our party!” and RSVP at the last minute. I will keep a tally of those who
respond and won’t forget anyone that gets back to me. If people have a
preference as to place (my place, your place, a restaurant – not that Mex place
though) or type of food, by all means put in your ideas! As usual,
significant others and well behaved older kids are welcome (even Kenneth!).
Whether at a house of restaurant, the sooner we get a head count the easier it
is to commit to a caterer or establishment. AND in addition to the usual
explosives and such, how about some great pics/slides/videos again?!
