so my wonderful little white truck is in the shop getting the heater fixed.
day 1 (thursday)
Posey's: hey brian we found the problem
me: oh yea how much is it going to cost?
Posey's: well, $200 to pull the dash, $45 for the part.
me: sounds great i thought it would be over $300, man that's excellent go
for it
Posey's: well the part will get here tomorow so we will do the work then.
me: hey that's fine i have the volkswagen to drive take your time do it
right.
day 2 (today, friday)
Posey's: hey brian how's that volkswagen running?
me: ah, great, but i can't wait to get my truck back.
Posey's: well you think the volkswagen will make it next week?
me: WHAT?!
Posey's: well we replaced that part, which was part of the problem, but
wasn't the entire problem. evidently the valve on the thingamajig is broken
which is what caused the "blandor motor" to burn up so you will also need
the thingamajig. I was calling to see if you want to go ahead with the
repairs, or if you want us to just send the "blandor motor" back and just
give it back to you as is.
me: well, how much will it cost to fix the thingamajig?
Posey's: well, we have to replace the blandor motor and the thingamajig the
thingamajig costs $480 because we have to buy it directly from ford. plus
tearing out the dash, plus removal of thingamajig and removal of "blandor
motor" so the total will come to $846, and that's not including the radiator
being flushed. i figured i would call you so you can talk it over with your
wife and figure out what you want to do.
me: <:sigh:> ok let me call her and see.
Posey's: alright just call me and let me know.

me: go ahead and do it

i think between the 0% financing at the ford dealership and the expense on
my truck god is trying to tell me something but, unfortunately diana
disagrees.
good thing hershey is running good. (bus content)
