Judging aside as Sammie says someone should look at it. Remember 21s and 23s can suffer from rust along the outer rockers. This gets down in the supports. If the belly pans have been changed that is an indication of this. Check the floors along the long rocker especially. Also check the inner rockers as well. If there's issues, it can well exceed the purchase price in metal work. You have my phone number. Give me a call and I can take a look at it. Hi everyone, I found a 62 and the price is reasonable but the middle seat is the wrong year and all the pans have been replaced with newer ones - do the judges count off alot for that kinda thing? I am not buying it just for shows but if I bite the bullet and sell my first born child I wanna get my moneys worth and I am wondering how that might lower the worth vs. what I pay for it and the possible resale in case of an emergency. He hasn't mentioned any awards just that people admire it at shows. It looks in great shape - complete resto - and he says no rust and new engine. What do ya'll think it would be worth? Thanks in advance for any advice - first split and don't wanna regret it later - then again I don't wanna miss the opportunity to buy one before they all end up accross the pond : P James DAC '73/'77 Westfakia '78 Super Vert ---------------- Don't be flakey.
