Thanks,  right now I think it has a pre'66 tailgate because there aren't any 
holes for the tail lights to be seen when the gate is down.

I'll hold off doing anything on the rear until I hear from you.  I have plenty 
of other areas to work on between now and July.

  Well, the new project is home.
 
 A few rust surprises once we got it out in the light of day, but that was 
expected.  Biggest bummer is the treasure chest floor board will need to be 
replaced.
 
 Pick-up bed is great, both side gates good, back gate needs work.
 
 See you guys after about 500 hours of grinding, cutting, welding, grinding, 
puttying, sanding, priming, sanding, painting, color sanding, buffing.  
 
 Or gray primer and a motor!
