Hi Julie,
Deluxe rear seats with the jail bar attached did not have that metal strip.
That would have been on a Standard or passenger Kombi.

Does anyone have an early bus in original condition with the luggage
bar on the rear seat? If you do, is there a metal strip that goes
along the top of the back of the rear seat? If there is a metal
strip, what color is it and what color is your interior?
Since I bought my bus in pieces, some original to my bus and other
not, I'm not sure if I need this metal strip or not and if I do, I'm
not sure what color it should be.
