I bet if the Chamber of Commerce knew about this conflict they would be 100% behind the show going on. And at that point you would have the Mayor on your side.

They basically have new management and we knew we would have problems. The golf people don't really like us being there. The police said they have no proof it was our group that did anything and everything we know is here say. So they came back with the fact that we have outgrown the area and basically its true. Camping was all over the place and we had a difficult time getting them to move and centrally locate. They have told us we could come back one more year but with a list of new rules to follow and lots of expensive security. We are looking into moving it to a larger facility in Austin, it will be different though and some people prob won't like it much. Camping is prob going to be on your own, its just too much liability and its not even offered at most venues. We might switch to a rally like the Gene Burg one too with prizes at the end and dinner on Sat. night. The only other option in Fredericksburg is the County Fairgrounds, its big and actually cheaper, also has no camping. Personally I think we have worn out our welcome in Fredericksburg and I would rather not return at all. They said they issued 16 tickets Friday night 14 of them went to VW drivers. Are we being targeted or stupid?
