I got up at 7:00 am and headed for Ft Worth in fog and rain. No big deal ,not a
terrific amount of traffic.I was going to meet Joe and we would meet up at
Dennis's house in Forrest Hills .I was in between Waco and El Mott and I could
already smell the Kolaches in West. When I lost power .I looked in the mirror
,no smoke.but idled on to the shoulder and idled to a abandoned gas station in
El Mont. At least I was out of the weather.Broken throttle cable again .What a
disappointment .Thank God for triple A for getting me home safely.What a bummer
to have a plan to be with Friends to celebrate Larry's life and it come to a
screeching halt.Please hug your wife ,kid or a Friend today.
