Without looking at the "Munich" tent, which I will do if they have pictures on the web, I can't comment directly on it. But, on the true Westfalia tent the rain gutter mount is in two pieces. One long piece that fits in front of the roof rack and runs all the way to the front and another short piece that fits between the center and the front of the roof rack brackets.
