A few years ago I had GoWesty install a 2.4L engine in my silver vanagon. Great shop & people. They loaned me, my son and his friend a vanagon for a week while they did the installation. We drove along PCH to San Francisco and back. In my opinion, GoWesty, Bus Depot and Wolfsburg West are the only places to buy VW bus parts. Not the cheapest, but the best overall service. The GW synchro crowd do a baji trip every year. You can find their photos and videos on You tube. ________________________________ From: sammie smith <bugcollections@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, February 25, 2012 9:33 AM Subject: [tcb] Re: I want one! On the CA Treffen last year one of the more impressive things of the whole trip was a visit to Go Westy, the owners of which hosted a great breakfast for us at their place of business. There were Vanagon Westys everywhere in various stages of restoration. Included among these were a bunch of synchros. They are some awesome vehicles, and if you have one or want one I would become very familiar with GoWesty. They are the experts. ________________________________ From: Ronnie Hughes <fracdogii@xxxxxxxxx> To: "tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" <tcb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sat, February 25, 2012 8:35:28 AM Subject: [tcb] I want one! I'll take one these and $120,000 left over versus a $200,000 BJ 23 window. http://syncrowestyexpeditionvehicle.com/index.html
