June 1, 2008 - Gates open at 8:00 am
VOLKSWAGEN and the Texas Motorplex present the Autobahn Motorsport Southwest
Championship BUG IN. The big day for Volkswagen owners is coming, as the
Autobahn Motorsport Southwest Championship BUG IN swarms back into the Texas
Motorplex in Ennis, TX.
Classic show cars, to wild customs, all out racers, and new Beetles, this
event will have it all. All parking on the Pitside; Participant, Spectator,
etc.

Gates Open..........8:00 a.m.
Drag Race Tech Begins........8:30 a.m.
Time Trials..........9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Eliminations.........1:30 p.m.
Car Show Registration........8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Car Show Awards........3:30 p.m.- 4:30 p.m.
ADMISSION
Adults........$15
Child 6-12.....$5
Child 5 & Under.....FREE
DRAG RACE INFORMATION
-All cars and safety equipment must meet 2008 NHRA Rule Book specifications
-No refunds on racer entry if breakage occurs. All entries become part of
the purse.
-Cars may run multiple classes
-All racers must wear long pants
-Drivers running 13.99 & quicker must have a helmet
-Bracket racers eliminated in either of the first two rounds of final
eliminations may Buy Back one time for only $25.00
-The one time Buy Back allows racers to compete for the full race purse
TIME TRIALS ONLY.....$15 entry
Autobahn Volkswagen Street Trophy Eliminator
$15 entry - Open to all VW's with through the muffle exhaust and D.O.T.
tires. Trophies given to winner and runner-up. This is your chance to see
how fast your VW will go, or just feel what it is like to run down the
concrete quarter-mile.
Pro Stock Eliminator
$100 entry - 100% Payback, 4/10 Pro Tree. Sportsman ladder. Purse based on 8
car field.

ACTIONSHIRTS.com Heads Up 11.90 Eliminator
$50 entry - 100% payback. 11.90 ET
V-Dub Folks E.T. Bracket Eliminator
$35 entry. Includes Dash Plaque. All cars 7.50 & Slower (ET. Purse based on
32 car field)

Black Gold Car Show Drag Class
$10 entry. 13.20 ET & slower. Car must go through tech before parking
in the show area. Must run Street Tires Black Gold Trophies to Winner and
Runner up.
Vendor's Row
The latest in newly designed aftermarket parts for VW's. Also, find all the
latest toys on sale in this area. Vendors recieve a 10'x10' space and two
general admission passes for $100. Or a 10'x20' space and 4 general
admission tickets for $200. Vendor set up is at 7:30 am. For vendor

Car Corral
$15 in addition to general admission. A great place to buy or sell a VW.
Bug Stop Swap Meet
$25 in addition to general admission. For anyone wanting to swap, sell or
trade their old VW parts. Each carload will be charged for a space. No toy,
new car parts or textile sales of any kind. Vendors found selling new parts
will be moved to vendor row and charged accordingly. No car sales in this
area.
Black Gold Showdown Car Show
$15 in addition to general admission.
Participants will receive a dash plaque. Over 30 classes.
