This is the greatest little show you never hear of. It is a fly-in for World War One airplanes and an all brand car show. It is very informal and relaxed - it is a show and shine, no trophies - just hang out and look at cars and watch the airplanes land, take off, buzz the runway, do aerial tricks, etc. If you get tired of looking at cars and airplanes, the hangers and workshops of the Vintage air museum will also be open for every one to wander through. Kingsbury is located a few miles East of Seguin between Austin and San Antonio. The show is FREE but donations are accepted. A local Boy Scout Troop runs the concession stand with grilled burgers, hot dogs, chips, soda, etc. so you don't even have to cook - all you have to do is show up and have a good time. This year there will also be CAMPING before and after the event. Camping will be similar to Transporters at the Point - Porta Potty's, no showers, Family environment. It is requested that you buy your lunch from the Scouts. For those that don't like to camp there are several hotels a few miles away in Seguin. The only special rule is "No pets." A loose animal on the landing strip could cause problems for pilots and the animal. Email for Details Dan Kinsey, ThatVWGuy@xxxxxxxxxxx
