Freedom, an '89 Vanagon, is water-cooled but water is twice air than hydrogen, therefore mostly air-cooled. Say what you want but I hold my head up proudly alongside other air-coolers. Except it was sitting outside with me worrying if the antifreeze is mixed properly during the below-freezing temps. ;)
