I've tried increasing the volume factor to 100% as it was set on 25% and it
hasn't resolved the hissing problem. I don't like the other voices but I will
have to put up with another voice as this hissing is rediculous. It's really
making it's presents felt.

Hello everyone,
thanks to Neil for posting news of the latest version of Talks and speech
engine files. I have successfully installed Talks and Eloquence onto my Nokia
N95 8GB phone. I must say the quality of speech is much improved. I've left
the volume factor for the phone speaker and headset at 100 percent and there is
no crackle or hiss.
One problem I have is when trying to play downloaded podcasts. when I have the
audio priority set to 2 Talks keeps repeating the elapsed time and I have to
mute speech to hear the file. My phone uses its music player when playing
files opened from the podcast client and file manager. If I set the audio
priority to 1 I hear the file but Talks is still repeating the elapsed time. I
can play music files through the music player. I didn't have this problem with
the previous version of Talks. any suggestions most welcome. thanks in
advance.
