Below is a link to the recently announced Microsoft Seeing AI project; an
app meant for portible devices such as Smart Phones which describes all of
the things you indicate in your surroundings which you are interested in.
It also makes use of an accessory called "PivotHead" glasses.
The site below has a short text description, and then a button which
launches a very impressive demo video. You may wish to learn how to disable
speech on your screen reader before launching the video, as it gives
constantly updated text captions for everything said on the video, and it's
hard to listen to those and the audio track of the video at the same time.
