btw,

Allison now tells me that Soft Paws are sold at places like Pets-Mart, and
over the internet, so you don't have to go to the vet in order to use them.

I've heard of that, but between my cat's personalities and the nightmare of
trying to get them back and forth to the vet for replacement, unfortunately
would never work.
