Good question ... dunno the answer though. Firewire support was supposed
to be added to 8 and was going to be in 9 ... but hope springs eternal.
Maybe usb hard drives will work without using beta level software in 10
also.
My poor sunblade just never even gets turned on anymore. Instead of
working in a solaris shop I am now working in hpux.
