[studiorecorder] sign waves and cross fade

Well, for what it is worth, I have tried about 10 different frequency
sign waves with a cross fade and there is no apparent volume dip in any
of them. I just wanted to prove Rob's theory that I thought was
correct, but scientific minds have to actually do these things, you
know.
I don't know where this gets us, but it's done anyway and the theory
seems to hold.
