Hello Lary:

Yes, you go to sounds and then the recording tab. arrow to the device that you are using to record with, then tab to properties. then you have to go to the levels tab there you will find the slider for the volume. I understand how all this works, but it is vary cumbersum! I would like to suggest that the select wave devices be enhanced so that the volume of the recording device could be changed there. Another Idea which would be even better is if there was a hot key to changes the recording volume of the current recording device be created.

Any thaughts?

I don't have a Vista system in front of me, but don't you just go to Control Panel/Sounds?

Hello:

When using windows vista, how do you adjust the volume of the line in inputs?

The old volume control app is it seems gone!

Can anyone help?
