This is why we so badly need direct x. so that we can stay in sr and do what we
need to do. I use the sound forge noise reducer, but there are probably many
out there newer and much better than what I am using.

Subject: [studiorecorder] a way of killing hiss

              hi:
  \
  i am into voiceover commercials.

i recorded a commercial and found it too noisy.

it was suggested my cable or my box might be at fault. i use a multimix 8
usb with a jlr plug for the audiotechnica microphone.

i need a third party something that will get rid of my massive hiss i hear
when i play back the recording.

  ron staley.
