Hi Rob,
I used the built in update feature of Studio Recorder from the help menu.
Sweet!
It told me what version I was using and said what the new update would be
then did all the updating after hitting y.
It couldn't be any easier!
As a matter of fact, I never had a update go so smoothly with less effort.

Studio Recorder 3.0.1 is now available. This is a very minor upgrade from 3.0.0.
We have also corrected a problem mentioned on this list over the weekend where downloading the program directly resulted in an older version being installed.
