Actually, you don't have to remix the whole project again. Simply save all
of your tracks, and negate the one you don't want. Of course, this requires
that you remember the exact level of the track to be negated.

Isn't it possible to make studion recorder a multitrack recorder.
That would make mixing much easier i think.

If you mix a piece of music into your file, and save/finish it, you can't
change it later.
Let's say you have mixed in several things, but one day later you want to
start that particular piece, you mixed in first, a few seconds earlier...
You have to do all the work again.
