[studiorecorder] Can I use a firewire interface with SR

Hi, Will Studio Recorder recognize the MOTU 8-Pre fire wire interface as a
sound card ?  I'm buying a new computer and this is what I will be using
with Sonar.  But, I don't know if it is an interface that will allow me to
play and/or record audio in SR.
