it's from a german book, so I hope the translation is ok and I made no typos...

I think this is the important part and hope it's helping you a bit, there's
some more... I also could search the ATARI developer documentation (must be
somewere in this house ;)) and scan the pages, but maybe it's easier for me
if I simply fill your gaps from the book...
