We have some new members and I think we need a social event. However , first
things first. To our new members, welcome to StAndrews Coastal rowing club.
This is still a new club having first taken to the sea in 2014. Everyone was a
new member then and I amazed a the rate of improvement in our rowing and the
evolution of the club. This is down to the efforts of the membership. I am
delighted to have new members who will bring new ideas and skills to the club
on and off the water. I am sure to be surprised again by the rate of
improvement in rowing and think it's worth noting something really obvious. The
more we put in as individuals and as a club, the more we get out.
A Bbq at east sands over lunchtime on Saturday the second July is proposed. All
welcome, friends n family. This crosses high tide so with our two boats we cd
row in the harbour if the sea is heavy.
We can practice, race chat, eat and welcome some of our new members.
I think this is important so please try to come along. Before we commit to this
I need some numbers so we have an idea of interest. Please let me know if you
can come along. We can then get back to you all with an appropriate format.
Let's move the club forward and have fun doing it.
