REGATTA UPDATE AUGUST 2016
Hi folks ,
After a very enjoyable and successful trip to Portsoy we now look forward to up
coming regattas in August.
6th AUGUST; SHIELDAIG
We have been exceptionally fortunate to be included in this regatta which can
hold a limited number of boats due to the size of the bay . The event forms
part of their annual gala weekend and will include a barn dance , raft race ,
live music, BBQ , open air street ceilidh as well as skiff racing.
Accommodation is varied but booking early may be advisable , please email me
for more details .

27th AUGUST; NORTH BERWICK
As a club we have attended this very popular regatta over the past two years .
Rowing around craigleith presents a challenge for coxes and crew . There are
numerous races for all ages including one for new rowers . North Berwick are
great hosts and its is an ideal chance to meet rowers from other clubs. Some of
you will recognise a few familiar faces in this photograph. There is a huge
range of place to stay in North Berwick from hotels , B&B's and the Tantallon
campsite .

With all accommodation is maybe wise at the time of booking to select the
free cancellation option just in case the event does not go ahead for some
reason as happened recently with the Newcastle Sprints.
