Very well said Clayton! And thank you to the StACRC Committee involved in all
of the challenging club transition issues with the sailing club and negotiating
these temporary arrangements with the Harbour Trust, you have all been
shouldering a great weight on your shoulders and involved in tireless work for
us all!
Thank you Julia, Sharon and Tracy!
Cheers,
Jody

Morning All.
Two years ago the StACRC was conceived by two people as an idea. This
coalesced into an eclectic group of people who couldn't row but were keen to
learn. We've learned a lot and will continue to do so.
Our recent change in club circumstances are an opportunity to develop in the
directions which we choose. Over the last two years we have made some strong
club friendships.
As of yesterday we have temporary dry storage of our radios, safety gear and
small gear in the old coastguards 'look out' , above the harbour near the
cannons. This is due to the generosity of the Harbour Trust to whom I am
extremely grateful. The boat will be stored close by. This combination of
facilities is the first of several that hopefully will rapidly evolve to
something long term. There will be new operational routines which will not
be as convenient as we have been used to but nothing is insurmountable.
This morning Julia, Sharon &Tracy cleaned the lookout and we moved our gear
in. It looks great. I will go through the rules for use later. Large items
will be stored at the garage on market street.
Forward and onward.
Clayton
