Hi folks ,
We have participated in a number of very enjoyable and successful regattas
already this season. The schedule continues over the coming month with
something to suit all types of rowers .
9th & 10th JULY : TYNE SPRINTS , TOUR DE TYNE
CANCELLED , DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES OUT WITH OUR CONTROL
16th JULY: CRASTER HARBOUR DAY
We have been accepted as one of 10 skiffs taking part in this event .
Increasingly we are meeting other clubs from the north of England. They are
extremely friendly and like to have a good time . More details of the race
format will be available as soon as we have them .
Craster is a pretty Northumberland seaside town that apparently has some good
pubs and restaurants.

23rd JULY : ST ANDREWS HARBOUR GALA
Last year this was a hugely successful event for us when Bev and her team ran
our first ever duck race . Sponsored by Adie Hunter Solicitors we raised a
very impressive ?1000 for club funds .
Plans are already underway to do the same this year and we very much need your
help . Susan Adie will be in touch soon with more information regarding this .
The harbour trust have been very supportive of all our activities and
instrumental in our adaptive rowing program by allow us free use of the new
pontoons for disabled rowers. Please put this date in your diary to assist in
making the gala a good family day out .
