- you will note that we at St Andrews use the anchor as an effective means
of keeping the skiff straight.This has proven to be most effective.
There are other methods including :-
Unshipping the rudder and using the paddle to steer by.
The most important aspect is to follow the cox's instructions and keep
rowing and if it is that bad - why did you go out in the first place!!!!
