Dear Rowers,
It has been brought to our attention ,by a concerned parent of a sailing
club member ,that a large piece of masonry fell off the disused building
in the sailing club yard last week causing damage to his sons boat .
You will all be aware the skiff sits beside the same building
.Consequently we will request that the boat be moved from its current
position in advance of the next rowing session on Saturday.
As of yesterday the area was not cordoned off nor was there any signage to
indicate a potential hazard. We therefore respectfully ask that you avoid
the area in the vicinity of the building until such time as it is made
safe .
