I would like to do this. My parents will be visiting - so I am not sure I can
make the whole day. Could I commit to the morning?
Thanks,
Laura

Dear All,
It is proposed to run a cox/seamanship training course on Saturday the 16th
April; theory in the morning and on the water in the afternoon.
The course will start at 09.30 at a venue that will be dependent on numbers
and will finish indoors at about 12.00. After a short lunch break (bring you
own food and drink, as the venue may not have catering facilities), the
course will continue at the harbour and on the water.
The priority will be given to those that are willing to become coxes and
cover shore duty, but we would like members to attend who just wish to
improve their knowledge of seamanship, the aim being to make our rowing as
safe as possible through awareness.
If you are interested, willing and available on the day, please reply to me
by Friday 1st April, indicating whether you are interested in becoming a cox,
covering shore duty or just the seamanship aspect.
Thank you,
