❌There will be no easy rowing on Monday 19th in after noon to allow for the
return of the skiff from Loch Ness. On Thursday 19th there will be a taster
session for new rowers. We would like to ask for members to assist the taster
team as crew and on shore. Many thanks. ❌
Please be aware of the changes to the rowing schedule in an attempt to ease the
burden on club coxes . Easy rowing will have a pre arranged Cox and shore
person for each session. Strenuous rowing will not have a nominated Cox or
shore cover . All signed up will be required to take a turn . Each skiff must
contain one individual who has done Cox training otherwise it cannot go ahead .
That person will be in overall charge of the boat but will not necessarily have
to Cox for the entire duration of the row.
EASY ROWING; pace dictated by the crew and will contain a pre arranged cox
plus shore person.
STRENUOUS ROWING ; to improve fitness , technique and racing drills PLEASE
NOTE ; NO nominated COX or SHORE person will be pre arranged . All crew will be
expected to cox under supervision or cover shore duties during the row. The
skiff must contain one club member who has done the cox training from names
below.
RACE TRAINING, TECHNIQUES, DAWN ROWING ; as per demand

ALL rowers will be expected to rotate and cox under supervision

A shore person is central to our safety procedures. If you haven't done the cox
training please volunteer to cover the shore , we will tell you what to do .
The cox will text to advise all rowers only if session cancelled. There may
be occasions when the sea conditions change favourably or otherwise in a short
period and a decision whether or not to row may need to be made with rowers
