Mediocrity is the hallmark of well established corporates. The more
mediocre a company gets, the more profits it reaps. Intellectually
sound ones never survive. Can anyone expect Bill Gates to argue
against patents, holding rights of individuals supreme ? It can never
happen. Many of these corporates commit crimes and need the protection
of the state to move around. Compare that with people like RMS who
move around in the safety cordon thrown in by ordinary people - and
the moral of the story will be out.
Having said, I wish all the competitors the best at their
test/interview tomorrow. Lets hope to see new records getting broken.
(At least, TCS has least patents under its coat !!)
