You just have to install DBI and the DBD-PG driver.
Username, password, etc. are passed automatically by SL scripts.
When postgres is installed by default is does not authenticate users. You have
to configure Postgres for this with pg_hba.conf file.

I installed DBI and DBD-PgPP via ppm and i have seen only DBD-PgPP but no
DBD-Pg in the repository.
I think I have missed here.
I have created user sql-ledger with password xxxx for postgresql. where do i
have to put the dbname,dbuser and dbpasswd in DBI / DBD? If so what will be
the dbname?
