Subject: Possible Major Severe Weather Outbreak on Tuesday Across Central Indiana.
Good Afternoon. There is the possibility of a Major Severe Thunderstorm & Tornado Outbreak for Central Indiana on Tuesday-Afternoon into Tuesday-Night. There will be 2 Possible Waves of Severe Storms. The first wave will be along a Warm Front that will lay out over the I-70 Area from mid-Afternoon into the Evening. Supercell Storms with Large Hail, Damaging Wind & Possible Strong Tornadoes will be the main issue scattered across Central Indiana. They will be possible from 3pm-8pm, it is still to early to have more details, but on Tuesday we should have a better idea on where exactly they should setup. The second wave will be along the cold front, this wave will be a squall line with Supercells within the line.
Again there will be Large Hail, Damaging Winds & Possible Strong Tornadoes with this wave as well. This wave should pass thru the Metro Area between 10pm-3am. But again we will have more details on Tuesday. I would pay close attention to Radio & TV or NOAA weather radio on Tuesday Afternoon –Tuesday Night! This could be a very large Severe Weather Outbreak for most of Indiana. Take Care! Stay Safe!
