Jews don't insist that you become Jews and generally don't shoot people, got it?

It occurs to me that there is no difference in the arguments against allowing
Muslims to immigrate to the U.S. today then those arguments against allowing
Jews to immigrate to the U.S. in the 1930's. The argument being that Muslims do
not fit in with the American Christian culture and never will because their
beliefs are fundamentally different.
Communists are atheists, so to them religious beliefs are irrelevant, should be
irrelevant.
I wonder who is correct?
