Depends upon what you want to use it for. Tablets can only be used with a
limited number of applications.
A tablet will have a touch screen. Most allow for a usb keyboard but not a
mouse.
I prefer a desktop PC, except maybe when lying in bed reading an ebook, which I
now do on my cell phone.
I would never buy an all in one PC because it's difficult/impossible to repair
and upgrade.
PC's last 10 years or more if you upgrade. Tablets 2 years maybe.
