West Nile Virus
Last year West Nile virus was prevalent throughout much of North America.
Today's site from Canada's Ontario Ministry of Health offers sound advice
for the prevention of this increasingly common illness.

This pleasantly designed site provides information about the symptoms and
treatment of the disease, mosquito myths and how to mosquito proof the
home. Additional sections cover bug spray basics, including an article on
mosquito repellents containing Deet. Fact sheets offer essential material
on topics ranging from "understanding the anatomy of a mosquito" to
"reducing mosquito breeding grounds around your home". A multimedia section
provides audio and video presentations on gardening, camping or canoeing in
West Nile virus affected areas.
