John/sHank - took a while, but the weather finally cooperated to bring out a
great day of fun, frivolty and friendship for a great cause. Thanks for
including us/me in the festivities. A day of getting soaked and great shots
all around. Loved Swamp sticking it within 4 feet to wax the pro. Never seen
so many silent auction baskets, hats off to Char and Mike for organizing such a
great event. Look forward to the next one.

Hi Guys,
Well the weather was brutal & beautiful. Despite being out driven by the
ceremonial starter on the first hole, our team got off to a torrid start by
birding 5 of the first 6 holes in the cold wind & rain. Scottie came
prepared but not so sure about Dr. Steve’s choice of shorts, who went mia
during the round. Halfway through the round, the skies parted, and even some
occasional sunshine appeared and cooled off our team. However, the warm
weather ignited the tag team of Rules, Axe, Docho, Shaft & Swamp (also
wearing shorts) who put together a blistering back nine score of 27 for low
SOGAGG bragging rights!
Hey is that two wins for Swamp so far this season? Could the secret to
playing great golf be pickleball?
Whats with the SOGAGGERs beating the pros! First Scottie taking down Charlie
Hoffman, and yesterday Swamp stuffed one to 4’ to beat the pro Haley Moore -
winner of the 2018 NCAA Women's Golf Championship, Junior Solhiem Cup, and a
couple of Cactus Tour wins. Dennis also hit one to 6’ beating her 8’ approach
shot and was also one of only a handful that were able to beat her. Need to
add Swamp to the Kangaroo docket.
Shout out to the Mt. Woodson couples who dominated the baskets at the event
with Kelly claiming 3, Michelle got 2 or 3, and saw that Jeannine and Jan
bagged one each. SOGAGG got on the basket board with Shaft getting his.
Thank you to our better halves Mary/Shari and injured players
Bob/Jan/Phil/Jeanine who joined us for the dinner portion of the event.
Best of all, heard that DSAction, despite not having a sponsor and low
turnout due to the weather did pretty well thanks to your generosity.
sHank
