I use both - depending on the recipe. They both soap just fine and the scent of the unrefined does not come through in the final product. I looooooove the scent of the unrefined coconut oil. ----- Original Message ----- From: Mandy Coleman To: soapcraft@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, June 27, 2010 9:45 AM Subject: [soapcraft] Re: Coconut oil Kia ora Yes I would like to know the answer to this as aromatics and more sells two types refined and fractionated. I have been using the refined because it says its for soap makers. On the soap calcs they have 70something and 90something degrees and I don't know which one the refined is so I have to make it up!... I have been using crude, which works well so far, but was wondering about differences of the various types available.
