Hi Louise,

It will thicken your lotion. Drag is a common result of stearic acid - did you use SA? CA may reduce the drag - I'm not sure. I use CA it at a small % in my lotions/creams.

Not that much help!

Gina might be able to help.

Subject: [soapcraft] Cetyl Alcohol

Hi All

I'm happy with the lotion I've made but just tweaking a little and would
like to make it a little more "glidy". I've read on the Dish forum that
adding cetyl alcohol would make the lotion more "glidy" and less drag.

Does anyone know if I add cetyl alcohol whether this will provide more glide
at the same time I don't want to make the lotion greasy as it's almost
perfect at the moment.

Cheers
Miss Nitpicker

(Louise)
