Hi everyone, thanks for the welcome. I used the beeswax to see if it would make the soap abit harder. I only used about 2% of the total of oils and I grated it and melted it into the pot with the oils. no mess although it is a bit hard to grate with my old grater!Cheers Annette:-)
I'm new to this but I read in one of the soaping books that if you add a little beeswax it makes the soap easier to re-mold. Jan > > >Annette mentioned Beeswax and I'm curious what you people feel this adds tothe soap? I know some use 2% in every batch to reduce ash, but have nevertried it myself as I rarely get ash and just wash it off or embrace it whenit does occur .. Does it have any other properties or purpose? ~ Clear ======= Email scanned by PC Tools - No viruses or spyware found.
