Lol, that’s what I thought as well.

My guess is that you did not mean to send this to this list? :)

Dear staff,
First, if you haven’t seen the listeners list email, I have made it so that
dj contact info is now on the schedule page rather than the dj contact page. I
think this will work better. However, there are a few of you missing and so it
is vital that you submit to me a text file with any on air contact info you
give out for people. I want submissions by Sunday.
If we share a Dropbox folder then that will be the easiest way to get it to
me. Please only use text.
If you are submitting a full bio, then you may use word formats. Contact info
is required, however full bios are not.
Also, I want to see more promos for our wonderful show’s!! Kyle has offered
to help people in the past and now that I’m done with school I can also help.
What you will need to do is give me a voice file and I will take care of the
rest. If you can produce your own promo, that’s fine too! If we need to use
TeamTalk to record your voice, that’s fine also. I am going to keep harping on
this issue so let’s start working on it please.
I know others are willing to help as well so there is no excuse. I will even
work with people on what to say if they are stuck.
Speaking of Promos, Jared’s promo has been updated, and we
now have a promo for our listening line.
I also need to talk about absences, twitter, and TeamTalk.
You may be aware of the situation with Kyle and the audio
picture show. If you do both show’s and you go on hiatus, management will
automatically assume your hiatus is for both shows unless you specify otherwise.
As for Twitter, we are expanding the rule about carrot tags.
We require you to use a carrot tag when tweeting out using the station Twitter
so we know who you are. As of now you may use your twitter handle as an
identifying tag with the at sign. An example is “The Herbie Allen Show with
@furby610 is now on the air.” However, keep in mind that carrot tags are
shorter and so using your twitter handle will decrease the amount of room you
have. This rule is an experiment and may be modified in the next couple of
weeks.
As for TeamTalk, do not put any channels other than the on
air channels on the air! While people in the main channel for instance might
not have a problem with going on air, it may not be OK to the person who
happens to come on the server and discovering that they are getting
broadcasted with out there knowledge.
This could have some legal implications and so I am stressing this. Users
violating this rule may have either TeamTalk or broadcasting privileges revoked.
I recommend that if you have multiple on-air segments, you hang out in the
channels designated on air for your entire show.
Also, I have been made aware that some people have felt
uncomfortable with various people on TeamTalk for various reasons. To avoid
this problem, stay away from conversations that may be offensive to people.
Also, be careful if you are reporting anything that you stick to facts and not
implications. There is a difference.
