Zdravo svima!
Evo zanimljivog teksta o novoj verziji ZoomText-a. Tu je i nova verzija sinteze
koja se koristi. Kako sada stvari stoje moze se ocekivati uskoro dosta novih
sinteza na trzistu. Mozda jednog dana i JAWS ponudi kao sintezu jos nesto osim
Eloquencea.

. xFont. ZoomText's new "xFont" technology delivers a dramatic improvement in
the quality of magnified text. At all magnification levels, ZoomText now
displays
print quality text that's clearer and easier to read than ever before. Even the
most ornate fonts are displayed with perfect legibility.

. Large Powers. With the new wave of super high-resolution displays, low-vision
users have been forced to use higher levels of magnification, some requiring
two times what they previously used. To accommodate these users, ZoomText's
range of magnification has been extended from 16x all the up to 36x. New large
powers include: 20x, 24x, 28x, 32x and 36x.
. 2.5x Magnification. ZoomText's new 2.5x magnification will surely satisfy
those who have been shouting, "2x is not enough, 3x is too much".
. Human Sounding Speech Synthesizers. With the new NeoSpeech synthesizers,
ZoomText now reads applications, documents, and web pages with voices that are
clear and enjoyable to listen to. The expressive, human-like quality of
NeoSpeech allows you to effortlessly and accurately absorb what's being spoken
by ZoomText.
. Reading Zones. The new Reading Zones let you instantly see and hear selected
locations in an application window. For example; your database application
may display a dozen or more fields of information. In your normal work flow you
may be interested in only a few of these fields. With reading zones, you
can instantly see and/or hear these select fields with the press of a hotkey.
You can create up to 10 reading zones per application. As you open and switch
between applications, the zones for the active application are automatically
loaded and ready to use. This feature dramatically improves the user's speed
and productivity.
. Application Settings. ZoomText's new application settings allow you to create
unique auto-loading configurations for each application that you use. For
example, perhaps you only need 4x magnification in Microsoft Word, but in
Microsoft Excel you require 6x magnification with color filtering. No problem,
just save the desired settings and ZoomText will automatically load them each
time the application becomes active.
. Text Finder. The new Text Finder helps you locate words or phrases that appear
in the active application window or anywhere on the entire screen. Text
Finder highlights and reads each found instance of the text. When the desired
instance is found, you can begin reading from that location using ZoomText's
AppReader.
. Tracking and Alignment Improvements. With improvements in tracking and
alignment, ZoomText now follows on-screen activity with greater accuracy and
less
extraneous motion.
