Good morning Bee Keepers of Sleaford I have pleasure in forwarding information for the forthcoming BBKA Annual Delegates Meeting being held 14th January 2012. I have been asked to point out that this is the Area Association that is the BBKA member as far as the ADM is concerned and so therefore any nominations or propositions will need to be sent to Celia Smith to be considered and put forward by Central Council. Dear Secretary Please find attached the documentation relating to the forthcoming 52nd Annual Delegates' Meeting (ADM), which takes place on 14 January 2012 at Stoneleigh Park. This is an important meeting within the BBKA calendar year and we hope that you will disseminate the attached documentation widely throughout your Association Membership. Participation and inclusion by the membership of the BBKA is vital to its lifeblood and this is the opportunity for all members to participate, either by standing for election to the Examinations Board or as a Trustee, or by ensuring that a full debate is held at Branch and Association level on the propositions, and then ensuring your local delegate has a full understanding of your views on the topics that will be discussed at the meeting. As you may or may not be aware the number of exiting Trustees is high and we therefore hope to attract those who wish to participate in the overall direction of the BBKA for both its short and long term future. Nominations are invited from enthusiastic members of the BBKA who can offer a wide range of skills and in particular financial, legal, or public affairs/public relations skills. There is further guidance available for Trustee nominees who may be offered an invitation to attend the 3 September Executive Committee meeting, as an observer, prior to confirming their nomination. To comply with the Constitution the deadline for receiving Nominations and Propositions is Saturday 22nd October 2011. This is in order to get the completed papers back to the Delegates by 19 November 2011. I would strongly recommend early submissions to allow time for errors and omissions to be corrected and avoid disappointment. Your Association Delegate must be registered by 19 November 2011, an early return would be appreciated. Any queries on the above please do not hesitate to contact me.
